Field ledger · Version 1.0.0

Record equipment movement under already-approved protocols.

Preserve source and destination waters, exact-offset use times, asset compartments, cited protocol scope, user-entered required steps, evidence, exceptions, and scoped authority decisions. This ledger records only what you enter from adopted protocols and authority records.

Before this tool

Confirm the prerequisite

Review the governing method before entering or interpreting data.

Shared route boundary

Does not supply a decontamination protocol or recipe; determine species or status; establish compliance, clearance, safety, cleanliness, or AIS-free condition; or authorize movement, fieldwork, waste handling, or response.

Start with an already-approved protocol. This ledger supplies no decontamination steps or release decision.

1 · Control record

Name the program that already controls movement.

This browser does not save your work. It also does not decide which protocol applies, what a protocol requires, or whether equipment may move.

2 · Source, destination, and assets

Build the entered movement vocabulary.

Context is copied from a cited source. “Unknown” stays unknown, and a database or watch-list entry does not establish species identity or legal status.

3 · Movement records

Copy the approved protocol; preserve every hold.

No field starts approved. Protocol, step, hold, destination, exception, and authority states remain independently attributable.

What this record cannot say

It does not identify a species, determine nonnative or invasive status, choose or validate a decontamination method, interpret law, authorize movement, certify compliance, or declare equipment clean, sterile, safe, or AIS-free. “Authority release recorded” displays only the entered authority, reference, scope, and time.

Shared route boundary

Does not supply a decontamination protocol or recipe; determine species or status; establish compliance, clearance, safety, cleanliness, or AIS-free condition; or authorize movement, fieldwork, waste handling, or response.

Method and sources

Entered evidence and authority scope, not decontamination design.

Movement disposition uses a fail-closed state machine. Unknown protocol scope, incomplete required steps or evidence, unresolved exceptions, destination review, and authority release remain on hold until you enter the supporting records. Authority release displays only from an exact entered role, reference, scope, and decision time. The ledger supplies no decontamination method, recipe, legal requirement, species status, clearance, safety instruction, or AIS-free claim.
