Method and sources

Transparent calculations, bounded interpretation.

Depth entered in feet is multiplied by 0.3048. Temperature entered in Fahrenheit is converted with (°F − 32) × 5/9. Adjacent temperature change uses the same ordered temperature series shown in the chart. Duplicate depths remain visible, while intervals touching them are excluded because the tool does not silently select a representative replicate. The tool does not interpolate values or convert dissolved oxygen to percent saturation.
